What does a blocked tumblr look like?

Blocking someone on Tumblr primarily prevents that user from communicating with you in any way. He will not be able to see anything from you in his dashboard, and you won’t see him in your dashboard. He will also not be able to send you messages of any kind.

Notifications show extra updates on your Dashboard, including actions like reblogs and new followers. Additionally, When you ignore a person on Tumblr, you will no longer be able to see him in your notes. If an ignored user writes a note on one of your posts, you won’t see it listed.

At the end of the day, the only way to definitively know if you’re blocked is to Attempt to reblog a post and be informed that “This post cannot be reblogged”. That’s definitive proof.

When you Soft Block someone they are removed as your follower. They will no longer be able to see your private tweets or reply to them. However, they won’t know if you have removed them as a follower as Twitter doesn’t notify them when you block them, but blocking someone automatically removes them as a follower.

A soft block is different from a block because It allows a user to still see your tweets and direct message you, but they won’t see your tweets on your feed. That said, when you remove a follower, they can follow you again if they want.

To soft block someone, you simply block them as you ordinarily would, then immediately unblock them. Blocking Forces the other person to unfollow you and erases your direct message history, but because you then unblock the person, they can still see your tweets, so they don’t appear to be blocked.

Tumblr deactivates accounts for different reasons as It has strict rules controlling the content posted on its platform. If you post violent or sensitive content, or if Tumblr thinks you’re a bot, it may choose to deactivate or suspend your account.

When you deactivate your Tumblr account, The posts in your blog won’t be reachable anymore because your blog no longer exists. However, if those posts have been reblogged by someone else, people will be able to find them in that person’s blog even if you’ve deleted your account.

The “Answer Privately” feature is available to all Tumblr users in their inbox. It only works on messages sent via the “Ask” feature. You cannot reply to fanmail messages, either publicly or privately.

Select “Private” from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner, then click “Create Post.” Your private post will appear only to you on your blog’s dashboard, but not on the Tumblr homepage or your main Tumblr dashboard. The post will display a “Private” mark in the upper left corner to indicated the status.

To do so, message the person from your account and at the same time, ask someone else to message that person. Keep a check on the delivery icon for both accounts. If the other person’s delivery icon changes from Sent to Delivered and yours is still showing Sent, it means they have Ignored you.

Navigate to the Activity tab, track down an activity line item from the post people just won’t stop reblogging, and then Press and hold until you’re given the option to tap the “Mute” confirmation button.

On the right side of the page select your side blog. Scroll to the bottom. You can type in the person’s url and click block. they will be added to your blocked list for that sideblog.
